Especially when it's being belt-fed into an MG

Haha, I don't think there are very many places anywhere in North America where you can have belt-fed ammunition

Cool! I'd be more interested though in seeing the monster that eats this stuff, especially with it being linked!

Very nice shot. Happiness is a belt-fed weapon! Good times.

Haha, unfortunately I don't own one of those. I'll post one up a little later though :)

Nice shot. I like the detail visible in the brass.

Actually, it's legal in all of the US except a couple of states. I think it's just Cali. and Mass. that restrict it. And those restrictions are only on live ammo. You can always get the dummy ammo that is just for looks.

Nice shot. Need to try something like this with some en-bloc clips from my Garand.

Well, for me it would be a C6 GPMG belt. I'm Canadian :) But I suppose it could fit your M60 as well, haha

Not a good picture, I know, but this is me and a buddy using the C6 last year

I've even heard that getting dummy rounds on links to CA is near impossible. I've seen many places that restrict shipment to me...

I do like the idea of the M1 clips pictures, I'd like to do that after midterms.

Interesting shot. Burning through the belts was always fun, carrying the 60, spare barrel and the ammo cans, not so much.

Humping the things around is never as fun as putting them to use!

They made me leave my at the gate when I left. That was a sad day. I don't miss dragging that pig and it's purse around the boondocks though.

No, it's quite a hassle sometimes. I'm almost always the C6 (M-240G) gunner in my platoon. Makes for some tiring exercises, that's for sure

True, but cleaning them after use??.. sometimes I'd rather just hump it.

Shaving cream, toothbrush, and a hot shower = clean MG!

Yeah, that's true. On my machine gunners and small arms coach course, we spent two days at the range with them. We also spent around twelve hours cleaning them! Not fun.
