Getting the hang of shooting this body indoors, and continue to be impressed. I feel like its performing quite well, at least in the containment of an indoor sports venue:

They're ok shots, but I think you should go lower. Shoot on your knees or from a seat.

Ya gotta get down on the ground baby ! Especially with the young'ns.

Other than that they look pretty good man.

Basketball Academy? We are there Saturday next. I'll be trying again.

No, thats actually University of Southern Indiana.

Basketball academy is by far my favorite place to shoot. Great light.

In the first one, it looks like she closed her eyes and missed the dig. Did the ball bounce up and hit her in the face? Nice pics BTW.

No. LOL. It bounced about 15 feet over her head. While not the most flattering shot for the young lady, I liked the compression of the ball on the floor.

And look at the focus on that 5D2!

I liked the compression of the ball on the floor.


I have a couple shots like that when the kid was dribbling the ball and my shot caught the ball just as it hit the floor. Flat on the bottom. Also caught a shot of her passing the volleyball and you can see the depressions in her arms when the ball left.

No knees, though. They are shot. :)

Haha yeah. I'm only 17 but I'd prefer to sit on a little fold out chair than my knees as well!

Me too. They won't let me use a chair for safety reasons. When I'm getting paid (hardly ever) I will wear knee pads, which makes all the diff.
