Thought I'd get some practice with my new EOD 350DC - first touch on an SLR since the first day at University (10+ years ago).

Some of the images are a bit over cooked as I've been playing with printer settings and getting used to all the difference between the 350D and my trusty A80 (which features in the first few B&W shots).

That's a very nice set of images but the three or four that I opened up looked way over- sharpened.

You're not wrong jgbeam, hence my confession about them being "over cooked", which I meant in terms of level adjustment and sharpening. These were all adapted from shots there were optimised for print, but I'm learning that 350D shots require more finesse than exposures taken with my A80.
