I took those pics in the market where stylic handcrafts of Uygur nationality are sold.

The Uygur nationality is habitated in the Xijiang Autonomous Region, the north-west part of China. It is unique in its culture, cloth, and living customs. Xinjiang autonomus region is always a mysterious place for lots of chinese, and foreigners as well.

Canon G2 was used as showed at the bottom of each pic. RAW file format was adopted and then the files were touched in Photoshop. All pics were taken in the around light with the camera handheld. Mostly, the shutter speed was not faster then 1/20s, generally 1/15s or so. So, you may find that some of the pics are not so sharp as they should be.

Anyway, I like most of the pics in this group.

Any comments, negative or positive, are welcome and will be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

For handheld 1/15s they are not as blurry as I would have expected. I like the close-up shot #2002121917533321774 best; very abstract. Thanks for sharing.
