I had my Cactus V2s firing a Vivitar 285HV last night, and for the first time I used my Ebay wireless shutter release. I was just toying around with different ways to light myself sitting in a chair.
What I found was that the two wireless devices don't play well together. The Cacti fire the flash every time when I manually hit the shutter button, but when the wireless release is used, the flash will only fire randomly. It went off maybe 40% of the time. Flash sync is also all screwed up, and I had to have the SS around 1/60 to catch the flash.
It's not a big deal, I was just wondering if this was normal. Probably something to do with the 2 radio signals fired in quick succession...
