I have now saved up enough money for some new glass or some lighting all my gear is in my sig. I have around a 700 dollar budget but it is a little bit flexible. Obviously i wouldnt want to blow it on one item but if i do its not the end of the world.
I shoot mostly highschool basketball and wrestling but I want to start looking into little league baseball. I was looking at the ab800s with accessories or a canon 70-200 f4l. Let me know what you think....

Are you allowed to use flash at baseball games?

Well, I would say to get some AB's for Basketball and Wrestling, but those sports are pretty much over. Not sure you'd get any use out of them until fall.

I'd say go for the 70-200 for spring sports coming up. Then save up for some lighting for the winter.

The 70-200 f4 L is super sharp, and would be a fine lens for baseball during the day.

Oh and maybe budget a teleconverter in there too.

I would sell the 70-300mm, 28-135mm, 50mm f1.8 etc and get used 70-200mm f2.8 non IS. I wouldn't find any of those useful for sports.

I use the 50 for basketball
And the 28-135 for various things
The 70-300 i could sell but then again its too much of a pain...
