probably the least 'metal' of all the bands who played the main stage, these native Georgians were nonetheless filled w/ total rock riffage and all the moves and looks associated with it.

I like #1, but would have cropped more.

What's the background story on the Scion Fest? Roadtrip? Assignment?

shame you cropped the headstock of the les paul in 1 and 3. Guitarists like to see the whole of the head stocki ncluding the gibson part.

for me no5 is pick of the bunch

i wanted him shouting into the void. a closeup would certainly be possible via crop.

a little of both. basically on my dime, but it was a great show to shoot and had a blast.

i'm not too worried about leaving off the head in #1 (see above comment), and for #3 i was as wide as that lens could go at that point, so i would have had to shoot portrait to get the whole guitar...i think landscape works a lot better, esp w/ the drummer's flying hair in the image.
