need help with western digital passport

just bought a passport essential 320 for the sole purpose of saving my raw files. i have a canon 40d and use DPP. when i sync the files it only saves the photos i have converted to jpeg or tiff, but not the raw files. i have xp sp2. . . .any help would be greatly appreciated

I really appreciate all of the responses. You've all been so helpful. Turns out the passport is formatted in FAT32. A simple reformat to ntfs took care of the problem.
I could have never figured it out with all of the help from this forum.

Glad you solved your problem - not sure I could have figured that out but everything I have is NTFS anyway.

Too bad you are unhappy with the forum - it's a busy place and sometimes things slip by un-noticed.
