This bad boy flew in a couple of days ago and 2 execs from Bank of America got off. They were in town for a few hours then flew to Chicago-Midway (about a 20min flight). Last time I saw, Bank of America received about $45 BILLION in bailout funds. Nice to see they're spending it wisely.

BofA is actually making money off this airframe. The N number is registered to BofA C/O Yum! Brands so Yum is renting it from BofA.
Also, how much time and money do you suppose it would waste for BofA to send folks from Charlotte to Kenosha to Midway and back to Charlotte via commercial flights?
Via General Aviation, they probably made the entire round-robin trip in six hours. By commercial, they'd have been out of the office entirely for at least two if not three days.
Edit To Add: I would maintain that this forum is for showcasing the forms and not the functions. If not, then we need to ban all images of military aircraft.

It seems strange in the second picture that the thrust reverser is open. Was he going that fast or is that a function that allows for easier (?) ground maneuverability?

Hadn't thought of that. Makes absolute sense to me. Thanks. Oh, and nice shots Jeff.

I was in Detroit Metro airport last week and walked by the GM CEO Rick Wagoner and his wife waiting for a plane. I was going to take his photo but by the time I ran back to get my camera his flight was boarding.

Seems like a sore spot with you. I'm not trying to pick a fight but what would be the cost of the 24-36 hour time savings be.
The fact it's leased out aside... I thought Private aircraft travel was a luxury/time saving device not a Money saving device.
Hmm...Form over function, Had not thought of it that way. You gave me somthing to think about here.

As a pilot, misconceptions regarding the efficacy of general aviation is a major sore spot with me.
As for the Time Vs Money point: Time IS Money.
Being able to do several cities in one trip and return the same day means no wasted hours standing in line at a major airport only to find the plane is overbooked, cancelled or otherwise delayed. It also means a savings on hotel rooms, rental cars, per diem and other misc expenses related to being out for multiple days.
Being able to drop into your customer's backyard at a small municipal airport instead of the "nearest" major hub can be the difference between getting a deal done and not getting it done.
For the record, I travel commercially 35-45 weekends a year and it would make my life exponentially easier if I could land closer to where I work each week. If I could depart later, fly direct and get home a night earlier instead of being slaved to commercial schedules and airports, damn right I'd do it. In a half a heartbeat...
Form Vs Function: Yeah, I see the artistry in the shape of an aircraft much more so than what it may actually have been designed to do. Maybe that makes me a little strange but it wouldn't be the first time I've been called that. ;)

I think the pictures look fine... I'd think about using a polarizer and opening the lens wideopen to try secluding the plane from the rest of the frame... Maybe have the plane on the side of the shot, less centered.

Finally, some one who gets it! I get a kick out of the talking points these idiots in public office use. I love how they give the auto execs a hard time about flying in. In the mean time, shrieker of the house, Nancy Pallosi gets her own private jet, I believe she is first speaker to have one. The same people who say we need to reduce our carbon foot print are the ones burning more fuel.
Good shots of the aircraft Jeff.
