I shoot with a Mark III and tired of using the usb cord to download photos from the body to the pc. What is the number #1 rated or best Flash reader to use. I've seen tons of them but have no idea to which one is the better?
Thanks

I have them firewire cable that came with the Mark III but I was told there are other readers out there that are faster? I just get tired of having to plug it into the body and wait when there should be other options?

Hey Kevin,
Check out the reader from Sandisk from BH (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/446772-REG/SanDisk_SDDRX4_CFR_Extreme_FireWire_CompactFlash_C ard.html)

I vote for the SanDisk Extreme USB 2.0 Reader (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0018OF88G?ie=UTF8&tag=gelstoncafeco-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B0018OF88G)
I have this one, very good reader.

I have the Lexar, the Sandisk and a host of other readers and they all perform pretty much the same. I just got his one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820176011 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820176011)
and it is a real piece of work. I didn't expect it to be as well crafted as it turned out to be and it performs the same as my other readers. Now I just use this for my desktop and have a reader for each of my camera bags and a backup.
