Earlier, someone posted a set of photos taken with the 350D and a good lens at all different ISO settings. I have uploaded photos I took, but with the kit lens instead. Go to http://mysite.verizon.net/resooya4/id1.html
I resized the photos, of course, for uploading.
All shots are hand held.

You should post 100% crops of the photo, not the whole picture resized down. ie if you're going to post the pictures 400 pixels wide, crop out a section 400 pixels wide and post that. If you resize down the noise averages out and isn't displayed.

Yeah - this is the great thing about 8mpixel outputs - you can take quite a noisy photograph and when resampled to screen friendly resolutions it looks nice and smooth.
Great for photographing - but an effect that makes comparisions very hard - you have to be able to see the raw pixels before a computer has resampled them down...

Yes, larger images are needed to detect grain.

Ok, I reposted cropped versions of the 800 and 1600. Had a little trouble getting the others up there at the same size--Verizon's web building tool did not cooperate. I'll keep trying.

Does this help display the shots correctly? Thanks
