There wasn't much color to start with and I needed to crop. I like it done like this.
What do you think?

Honestly, the symmetry in this image is boring. Its not holding my attention. being that its dark is not helping either. Sorry, its probably not the words you wanted to hear.

Well... I do dream of hearing... Wow the greatest picture ever! But I know thats not likely .. at least not yet. And I did post to hear opinions and critiques. After all how else do I learn?

I do like the sharp lines and weight of the bridge, however I would have liked to see it 'grounded' in a sense. Perhaps pulling back to see some ground, even if just a sliver, would have helped the image.

Just not enough light/color for my taste. Sorry to say but there is nothing to maintain peoples attention. Keep working at it and one day you will get that type of reaction that you hope for.

I think with exciting clouds or sunset color in the background it could be interesting, but this is pretty drab. Also the tower is tilting a bit, which even loses the symmetry.

Definitely a good attitude!:) That's going to get you on the road to greatness, for sure. I realized i didn't offer any advise to help the situation...
I would've liked to see more of the bridge or maybe a crop that plays the "rule of thirds" a little. The suggestions above are great too. grounding the bridge and/or a spectacular sky cut apart by the cables would be pretty dramatic. Maybe even a different time of day or weather condition. Ihope that helps a little.

I would personally like more of the framer to be filled, and perhaps eliminating the pointy objects up front could also help the photograph. I think there is potential for an interesting abstract here.

With the main beam dead center, the symmetry of the shot feels awkward to me because the diagonals are not exiting the right and left sides at the same height. You also have a slight lean to the right on the main beam. I corrected the lean, and re-cropped so the diagonals exit the frame at the same height. Level adjust so it's not so dark.
Oh yeah you've got some dust on your sensor :)

I think i over corrected the lean.. It was much worse in the original. Also I cropped out a blurry light fixture in the foreground. I see the changes and will see what I can do. The original is below.. only resized for posting. Otherwise straight JPEG conversion
