It was my very 1st birthday today and my uncle nabil took some photos..... can you give him some advice so that other photos he takes can be better?

Good photo, cute kid. I think an omni bounce would do you some good, but I am no expert. I try to stick to available light shooting.

Its a nice shot, I would adjust the contrast a bit on it though. The balls are extremely bright and the ones in the front have been blown out a bit.

Actually, this was shot with a stofen omnibounce mounted on my 420ex. Shot was taken about 1 metre away from subject in AV mode. F5.6 1/60 sec. Some of the shots came out nice (i'll explain later which ones), but due to the low level of lighting in the warehouse coupled with high level ceilings in the playcentre, i found that a flash was mostly needed although i couldnt bounce. I ended up taking head flash shots all the time. (Thought my omnibounce would reduce the reindeer headlighteffect...i guess the result were okay.

In anycase i took a few shots at iso200 with flash / no flash..for experiment on account of trying to keep my shutter speed up in order to deal with the fast subject movements. These shots i think came out a lot better apart from the higher noise levels in the shot. Im still going through the noise reduction of these shots... cant wait to get a 300 or 20d one day... iso 400 with no noise / flash in this area would have been nice. Would you have taken these shots any differently?
