Went out today to take pictures in order to get better than I am. Still not where I want to be but, I thought this was a good picture that I took. Took this with the 1D and the 17-40L lens combo. Comment Suggestions are always welcomed.

I wanted to add this picture too...I don't think it's all that special but, I liked it when we passed by.

Very nice compostion. Lovely photo. It would be nice to shoot a closeup of the moss on the roof.

I would have liked to gotten closer myself but, as for out in the fields the snow is still deeper than what you think. I stepped out there and before you knew it I had sunked down ending up to my knees. So, that is as close as I could get. :)

Lovely shot. I love old sheds and buildings like that, they have so much charcter, and the stories they could tell. :) :)

Very nice shot. I too love these old buildings and the character that they can protray in a shot. Personally, I wouldn't change anything in the first shot. I think it is good the way it is.
I share you feelings about stepping out into the snow. I did that recently and ended up waist deep in snow that didn't look that deep.

Thanks for the nice comments. If it had been as it was a few months ago I wouldn't have gotten as close as I did now. This snow is deep here. :)
