I've got DPP v1.5 that came with the 20D. You guys use this software or do you have another preference.

Welcome to the Forum. If you look through the Post Processing Section you will find that people use DPP, EVU, BreezeBrowser, Capture One (C1), Raw Shooter, Photoshop Elements 3.0 and PS CS. Since the latest version of Adobe Camera Raw (ACR), I mostly use PS CS for conversion and post processing.

If you are planning to use DPP, you might want to download the latest release which is v1.6 from here:

BTW, welcome to the forum. :)

Thanks Leo and Scott.

I have Photoshop CS, but I'm alway looking for something a little quicker. I normally use ACDSee 7 for bringing in my images in from the card, sorting, and renaming....then do the rest in Photoshop.

Photoshop CS can't process RAW images from the 20D from what I heard also. Not shooting RAW yet, but is that correct ?

Version 2.4 of the ACR plugin (released in January) supports RAW files from the 20D. It's available for download on the Adobe site.

I've just started a trial of Picture Window (www.dl-c.com (http://www.dl-c.com)) and my initial impression is very favourable. Its designed specifically for digital photography, but doesn't process RAW images. I use Breezebrowser Pro for that.

There's a 30 day trail available.
