Not feeling it personally.

#1 has interesting lighting but its hard to tell what is happening in the frame
#2/3/4 I think would all be better in color
#5/6/7/8 are just too contrasty for me. Just check the histogram. 5/7/8 look like a giant U with everything piled up on either end. If you like crushing blacks and blowing whites in your conversions, I suppose thats your own preference but its too cliche for my personal tastes.

Moment wise, I like 3/6/7 but I would have cropped or composed 6/7 differently.

"not feeling it here, personally." Me, too. I think the BW conversion really takes away the feel of emotion. Not sure why, but color might help.
