Thanks. I thought that stopping the lens down a stop with the TC would give me better image quality than shooting wide open.

Is there any more above his head in #1? That would allow you to get the horizon level.

Thanks for commenting. Yes, there is more room on #1. I straightened a later version, but didn't have it online for posting.

your timing is really solid and the images look well exposed. I do the same with the TC on the zoom. On the prime, I usually leave it at F4.

shot #2 and 3 from the first batch were like winners in my mind, plenty of details, the amount of dirt and dust kicking up at home plate and stealing 2nd has just a lot of impact. i would of used like a wider aperture to remove more of the background and have much higher shutter speed to have little more sharp action
