enough to support a IIn and my siggy? I haven't yet taken delivery of the IIn, so I can't tell about the weight difference between that and the 30d.....
Previously, the bogen was doing OK with the 30d and siggy, but if there is any significant weight difference between the IIn and 30d, I guess I better re-think about support....
30d is gripped BTW..
I'll be mainly shooting baseball, which is why I am posting here in sports talk instead of accessories..
Thanks for your feedback...

No problem, Pat. I used mine with the 120-300 and now use it with a 400.

thanks. I hadn't even gotten the IIn yet and then I went ah-oh....At this time, I was lucky to get the hubby's consent to the IIn, any more purchases will throw me to the dog's house.....:D

Very cool thanks. Good to know I don't have to get anything further. Am I wrong in thinking you had a 300 2.8? What happened between that and now a 500?? How do you even lift it, nevermind getting on the camera??

I have both 300mm f2.8 and 500mm f4 IS but the baby is keeping me busy at home.

Well, enjoy the baby days, they go really fast. And be glad your first time out you didn't have twins. My husband and I did not sleep at all for 8 months......

no problem at all for the 680B. I prefer the newer 234RC on top to the older 3229.

I use a 680B with a 300 f2.8 and have no problems. The 680B is rated to 22lbs so it should hold any canon camera/lens combos.
