Hya folks.....I'm looking into buying a new lens And was wondering if this would be the right one for me.
I'll have to start off by saying that I take a lot of pictures of birds and animals from a moving train....typically in the 25-45 mph range so I'm thinking a prime lens having no need to zoom is an added benefit..And I don't want to invest in a 2.8 for obvious reasons....
Another possible drawback to this type of shooting may be that I am using a digital rebel (for now). I seem to remember the hack having something to do with AI focussing but i'm not sure...perhaps someone can enlighten me on that one.
If anyone has suggestions on possible lens for this type of photography it would be appreciated....
Thanks....latigid soe
