Alright I already got couple of awesome lenses for my "new" Canon G9, because I think its a great compatible camera for beginner's. I already have Lensmate adapter, Raynox 2025 PRO and MSN-202. Two very nice lenses that I recommend everyone should have.bw!

OK but my question's are:
#1. Is there night vision for Canon g9, I really pray there is because I want to take night vision shots .
#2. Good settings for taking shots for aquarium?
#3. What settings I should put for my MSN-202, I been playnig with the Manual mode, after I read the guide for canon g9, but I know there are pro's out there with the "right" settings they use so please tell me them :)

Well That's it sorry for such a long post, any help would be apreciated.

Q2: Your G9 has an aquarium scene program. Take a few shot with these auto settings and have a look at the exif data to find out the preferred setting for aperture and the rest, if you want to use them manually.
Not using this scene program perhaps you have to use a custom white balance to compensate the massive blue color cast. Use a white or light gray stone in the aquarium as a reference.

well...there are no specific settings for anything you shoot.
you need to learn how aperture, shutter, and ISO work together.
and how they affect specific shooting environments

Piet's idea is a good one for the aquarium stuff as it seems your not familar
with shooting manually. its a good way to learn and still get some decent pics
(although iv never used any of the scene modes on my 10 so i cant vouch for them).

if your asking if there is a night vision accessory, then no.

for your Raynox Macro lens...use the macro setting, or go with MF.
if you want shallow depth of field, shoot with your aperture wide open (2.8 )

I know you didn't ask but I have to also put in a good work for Richard Frainec's (sp) grip, hotshoe cover, and thumb rest. Must have's IMO, if you don't already have them.

ditto on the Franiac grip - a masterpiece - Canon should take that up themselves on licence.

Also Gordy's straps are the perfect final touch.
