Hey everyone,

I asked myself several times what the best way would be to present someone my pictures I took in NYC.
So I made a little selection of different shots I made last year and put them together in a slideshow. I also captured the sounds of the city and when you turn on the speakers at you computer you'll here those sounds matching to the photos.
It's not the best sound quality, I admit. So you might turn down the music a little.

I'm not sure if it is allowed to post a slideshow in here, instead of photos.
If not, let me know and I'll just post the photos.

I hope you like. Let me know what you think.

I like it a great deal. You've captured a good feel for the city, and the matching soundtrack really makes the slideshow work.

Old story, as follows: Engineering student receives an F on midterm from Professor. When student asks Professor if he liked the bridge he designed and the Professor said yes indeed, student asked why he didn't receive at least partial credit.

Professor replied: You make beautiful bridge, but because of major flaw, bridge will fall down. Bridge fall down: no partial credit.

Moral of that story: Beautiful slideshow. Music just about perfect.

No picture of B&H in a photo essay of New York on a photography forum?

Grade: F. No partial credit. ;)

Hey everyone,

when I saw how many people posted their comments to my slideshow, I was wondering what this would be about.
I'm amazed at your comments and the good critics.

Never thought it would have an "impact" like that. I'm glad everyone likes it that much. That makes me feel like it was worth it, putting in all that work for this slideshow and the recording and mixing of the sounds matching to the pictures.

I'm really really happy... you won't believe it.

I'm thinking of doing a second slideshow about NYC or just a longer version.
What do you guys think? Would you watch the slideshow till the end if it would be longer than it is right now (1:49mins)?

Let me know what you think.
.. and again, thank you very much.

That was funny. Never hear about that story though.
Actually I don't have any picture of B&H photo. But I've been there.
But unfortunately they didn't had the lens I was looking for in stock, so I bought it at Adorama, which is a nice store too. ;)

Great work. I would include a couple of bridges in the next show especially the Brooklyn Bridge.

I loved it!
The slideshow and audio mix is great!

There is nothing like the sound of a sax mixed with NYC. I think I got that from opening theme to SNL when I was young, and my older sisters watched it, but the two sounds together hit me in a special way.

Hey guys,

I'm glad you like it this much. I'm happy about that.. didn't know it would have that of an "impact". ;)

Would you watch a slideshow that is a little longer? Or is 1:49mins enough?

Let me know.
