hmmm... looks more exciting. thanks for the effort.

I have noticed in this very forum that there is a lot of post processing done to the pics with programmes like photoshop etc... one can see that the photograph gets transformed a lot (quality wise). i personally feel that this is misleading.
pardon me if i sound stupid but arent there any ethics/outlines which say how much post editing is fine or how much is justified. or can we merry around as much as we want??
waiting for some advice...

Merry around as much as we want...:D

With our own images.

It's the representation by the photographer of what the image is that gets into the ethics issues I think. If I'm looking for an outstanding vacation picture my ethics would allow more post processing than if I was a photo journalist trying to sell a story to a news service.

We play around with our images, because our cameras or lenses aren't good enough to capture moments the way our eyes see them. Photographers have been doing so in the dark room for over a century; now we just use software.

If the final result is natural looking, then it's o.k. as far as I'm concerned. Even if the result is unnatural, it can be artistic and moody, which is also o.k. Bad manipulation on the other hand is unacceptable.
