A dull and overcast day at Mallory Park for some EMRA (East Midlands Racing Association) motorcycle racing. A fast and furious day with too many accidents. The sky was so dull and overcast I never got above 400 ISO. Roll on Summer….

Very nice photos, Neil. I take it that EMRA is a club or amateur racing organization. You've got to hand it to these guys, they are the heart and soul of racing.

Great shots Neil, and some good panning technique. Was that aided by IS mode 2 at all?

Wow, cool shots. I really like the cornering shots, I can't believe how well you froze the scene, the tread on the tires is so insanely clear. If they weren't leaning that hard I'd think it was a mockup or something.
Very nice work.

The last picture...of the white GSXR.....it sure looks like he's lost the front end! That's a great capture!

Wow! Great shots! I love the 3rd yellow R1 shot, it screams corner speed! And the front fork compression proves it. http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_cool.gif
Excellent capture on the front slide by #31! Did he save it? http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_eek.gif

Great shots, Neil. All of them.
Motorcycle racing is very exciting, and you've captured it in these shots.

Wow, I got nervous going about half that far on my 748r. He sure has some brass ones! Great picture, only thing that wouda made it better was if he was riding a 999r. :)
