Hi, could you please give me some C&C on this photo.

Thanks

I would love the shot if it weren't for the pixelation. Is that just my laptop screen? The sky seems pretty pixelated... I take it that it's raining?

Initally I was thinking that the sky was pixelated also but after looking closer it seems that it was snowing or raining at the time it was shot. Overall it is a great shot, I really like the angle it was taken at.

Thanks for clarifying that. I had to second-guess myself (hence, asking if it was my laptop screen).

I agree, it's a great shot. I love the angle too, as as well as the architecture and coloring. Where was this taken?

It's the first picture where I get to use this icon: bw!

Thank you very much for the kind words...

@ Howaboutnow - the picture was taken in your home country: Canada :-)

I was in Montreal yesterday and took a photo of city hall. One of the joys of living in Ottawa - Montreal is at your doorstep. And yeah, the photo is pixelated because I compressed it to put it on the net.

I choose Smakelijk as my nickname because I visited the Netherlands and loved it.

Oh, hahaha that is too funny! I've heard Montreal is an interesting place to visit.

I was born in the Netherlands (have been in Canada for 13 years though) so knew what your name meant. I suppose you have a love for food eh? lol :)

Well thanks for sharing!

Yeah.. I love food .. tried to learn some Dutch but wasn't overly successful. The language is pretty neat sounding though. Montreal is a fascinating city. In some small respects, it does remind me of Amsterdam as both cities are very liberal. What part of the Netherlands were you born in?

Tot ziens

Shaun

Do you like the Dutch food in particular or any kind?

I haven't been back to the Netherlands in a long long time, but hopefully after I finish school in Aug. I was born in Utrecht. Do you know where that is?

Als je het leuk vind kunnen we ook over PM over gaan, lol.

Doeg,
Suz
