After editing and printing photos I need someway to put them up temporily so as to show them, I dont like using a cork boad cause I have to stick thumb nail through them. They may only be there a few weeks. Anyone built anything to do this or would there be commercial models available.

There are Post-It bulletin boards and/or adhesive strips which you could use. Alternatively, use magnets on a steel panel or some of those roller-type note holders (Falcon used to make them for prints, IIRC; you'll likely find smaller ones in stationery stores for holding memos, etc.).

I use those clear plastic sleeves used to hold paper documents to hang my pictures up on the wall. Not only will they keep your prints from getting tack holes in them but they'll also protect your prints from greasy finger prints, airborne pollutants and dust, and fading. :)
