I followed the Ironman this year taking pictures of a friend. These guys really do push the limits of human endurance, although when you've got a bunch of family cheering on the sideline you can eek out the odd smile.

They're all under-exposed and just simple everyday candids more than anything remarkable or noteworthy. Were these taken with a simple P&S?

So in summary they are technically incorrect, boring and appear to be taken with a simple camera with limited capability? :oops:

Does it matter if it was a 1DsMk3 or an Ixus 60?

Does anyone else think they are underexposed? They appear fine on my screen at home and at work. Sure they don't pop with vibrancy and colour but it was a relatively poor weather day.
