The sun was out over the weekend, and I had some time to spare, so I took myself out to take some pictures on my Ixus 40 camera. Still getting to grips with it, and also Photoshopping the end product so don't laugh too much at the result :o

Any advice greatly appreciated.

I like the composition of photo # 3 allot but the tower appears to be leaning a little to the left.

No idea what the 2nd one is supposed to be, it does look like a 'coaster track!! I can only guess somone thought it was 'art'!!

As for the tower, I know what you mean about it looking on a slant, it's not, (in real life anyway), but for some reason it appears to be in the photo.

midge, the verticals are converging on the tower shot. Probably because of wide angle lens and looking up slightly. You can fix this very easily with "perspective" command in PS.

I do like the fifth shot, how come I can't see your reflection? ;-)

Well, I may not know much about PS, but just enough to get me by for the time being ;)
