I just got my camera (XSI)a few months ago and just want your guys opinion on some of my pics. All the urban ones where from my first time actual just walking the streets and shooting, which was just last week.

For some reason I really like IMG_2836, just because of the variance in color between the sky and dirt. In image IMG_3877 I really like urban decay theme that it presents.
I am not sure if you are using Photoshop or Lightroom, but in all of the other shots, the color seems to be way to viberant for my taste.
I would suggest that you try some other subjects to expand you skills. You can definately have some fun with Macro photo's as well as some wildlife shots if you have the opportunity to get some. My advice would be to keep on shooting around and your skills will definately develop.

the colours are generally vivid. thats a good start. I see that you have tried capturing an image on a fast shutter, played with DOF and perspective. Shoot more and experiment. Do visit my flickr. I will comment on yours once i get home.
