View Full Version : WORLDWIDE PHOTO WEEK: PART 155 -- Steps

BLS
9th of March 2009 (Mon), 06:53
Every week we select a new theme and then go out and shoot that theme. This week the theme is Steps. Be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme -- the sky's the limit!

Here are the rules:

1. Shots need to be taken between sunrise Monday and sunset the following Sunday. Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives. Snap shots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!

2. Post your shots at any time during the week.

3. Post a maximum of two shots if you're uploading them to POTN (i.e., attaching them). You can post more than two if you're linking to shots that are not hosted by POTN (i.e.,embedding them), but keep within POTN rules. Also keep within POTN rules about size. A copy of the size rules can be found here: http://photography-on-the.net/forum/...d.php?t=194511 (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=194511)

An index to previous weeks can be found here: http://photography-on-the.net/forum/...d.php?t=170603 (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=170603)

That's it! Have fun!

Ok, for this weeks theme of "Steps" I decided to create a photo that shows the steps to get it here!

First there is the camera and lens, then there is the helpful subject and then there is the computer and the result ends up here!

Nice coincidence again - I've taken lots of steps this week walking the streets of Istanbul. I have quite a few 'steps' shots too: here are just a couple from those I've PP'd so far!! the rest will need to wait until the weekend ...

condyk,
Instead of coincidence, why not try to use the topic as a reason to get the photo? ??? Thats what I do ;)

Here is a good friday (or any day available  ) situation

Here are some steps up to the Rumble Seat of a beautiful Packard (don't know the year, sorry). A car club out in the desert on a caravan.. as a bonus the photographer is reflected in the bumper :)

We had to take quite a few STEPS out into the desert to get close to these metal sculptures of which there were more than a dozen over a few acres.. mostly horses, but some really big eagles and a small herd of woolly mammoths..
