I did these this weekend. He is 7 months old.

Any thoughts?

His mommy was very happy with them.

Where did he get the baby toupee?? My son needs one... but that is a serious lot of hair there! I like the set and I'm sure mum will be happy. A few comments:

1/2: there is a slight magenta cast to the background but if you fix it, the skin tones go too green -- so maybe there was a bit of a colour fade to your lighting front to back. If it bothers you, I'd mask out the baby and then just fix the bkg.

3/4: I like the black bkg. With 4 though, I don't like where the reflection cuts off on his face; I like a tighter crop so the reflection is just above his shoulders.

Good cropping on the set overall, though, I like your atypical framing in #1.

Thanks Hoff, yeah this boy has always had tons of hair (see his newborn pic below).

I am still learning how to light a white background properly. I did some PP to get it whiter, but then his outfit kinda blending in.

I used the plexiglass towards the end and it was the first time I used it. I like the effect, but yeah, it should be all head or no head.
