View Full Version : My hands are too big for the G10, SO...

So I bent up a peice of stainless and machined a knob and made a kind of battery grip adapter for the E-1 handstrap. Notice I only have three fingers in the strap, this leaves my trigger finger out loose and roamin' around!
My wife pointed out to me the other day that I was extending my pinky when holding this little fella, now it is constrained (repressed?) within the strap and I am not going to drop my new toy. She seems disappointed, not that I won't drop it, but that she has one less tool to pry away at my masculinity with.
I just have to complain a little, how did they expect me to get to all those little buttons if I didn't have room to grip the darn thing? I am spoiled by DSLR's , but they don't fit in a shirt pocket (2XL).

Absolutely enjoying the heck out of this camera.

Okay I just got my G10 yesterday. Where or who makes the nice "case" for the camera? I am just looking for something exactly like that!

Its a SC-DC60B case made by canon though the op's looks black ,mine is brown so number may not be 100% correct and my inner is cream and it also comes with a nice leather strap to match

I found mine on ebay, made in china, sold in japan, retailed by an ebay reseller in vancouver BC. mine is black with red interior, the tan ones are much nicer but harder to get. I settled.

Isn't it the DC60A?

Thanks guys! I did find it after searching for an hour! I like the tan, but the price is sure steep! I like it because it is like what was on the old film slr's!

As I said the number may not be 100% accurate as mine was brown ( tan)
