I came across an external HD by Western Digital called a Media Center. It is 250GB with a built in multicard reader. Does anyone here have one? How does it work?

I've got one.

The Multicard reader only works when using USB2.0. My version is both IEEE1394, and USB2.0 and I exclusively use the 1394 port to mount the drive.

I use my Epson R800 for the mutilcard reader. One benefit of this reader is that it doesn't enumerate each card slot differently, they all sit behind one controller.
