Finally made the move to L glass with the 100-400mm which arrived today with my 580EX.

I have to say this is one L of a lens. Cant wait for the weekend to get out and have a real play with it. A couple of test shots in the lounge have come out real sharp.

Another happy L convert :D :D :D

I am looking at the 100-400 F4 L too.

What makes it so good, I am on the brink of ordering for wildlife/sports use and would really like to hear more as it is a big investment.

I recently upgraded from a 75-300 to the 100-400 L..:D

No contest......super piece of kit

Much reduced in size/quality at 400mm below
