I will soon be getting the canon 10-22 ultra wide lens and am after a high quality circular polariser to use on it when I go to New Zealand. I was considering the non-slim version of the B+W 77mm Kaesemann MRC Circular Polarizer from hvstar.
My concern is this will vignette at wide angles, but I have also read conflicting information that the 10-22mm will not vignette at 10mm on regular filters because the lens actual extends to almost touching the filter at 10mm. Can anyone point me to any exapmles of shots with this setup at 10mm or does anyone own this setup and can share their experiences on this?
The reason I want the regular and not the slim one is because it has front threads which I can attach a cokin grad ND filter to and use them both at the same time. I could go for a hoya Pro1 SHMC or DMC which but I have read that they are hard to clean and not as high quality, is this true? Or should I just go for the slim version and handhold the ND grad when ever conbined use is required?
Thanks
