We went to visit my sister-in-law and her family (including a new 5-day-old baby!) this weekend, and I took the opportunity to snap a ton of photos. I'm interested in getting CC on a few of them. I'm a newbie, so I could use comments on pretty much all elements of the photo. Specifically, I'm curious about lighting, composition, and color balance.

In their house, natural light was hard to come by, so these were all taken with my bounce flash (Canon Speedlite 430EX II). I'm just starting out, so I was playing around with a lot of settings, both on my camera and my flash. All were shot with my Canon Rebel XT and my 50mm/f1.8 lens, but other settings varied.

Please let me know what you think! Thanks!

I like the series. For #1 I would crop out the remote control and actually maybe a tighter crop all togerther. The final two the baby looks uncomfortable (though we know he's not of course).
