thanks a lot everyone. i appreciate your comments a lot. helps me to try to get better.

- this photo was shot with my powershot G5- f8@1/400.
because of the brightness of the sun, it tends to dominate the rest of the scene so i thought i would try to make to most with it. filled the photo with a deep red color in photoshop(to simulate colored filters) and adjusted the opacity, levels, and cropped.
