Hi there
I'm having a hard time identifying the wireless remote that will work with the 20D. Is it the RC1? RC5 is for the Digital Rebel I think...
I did a search here and found a few threads talking about the LC4 ($400????).... and people asking about a cheaper option....
I think I already know the answer... but I'll ask anyway....
That "very expensive" LC4 is the only Canon Wireless remote available? If so.. what makes it so special?
Thanks in advance

If you already own a set of Pocket Wizards, you can buy the Pre Trigger Cable
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=198049&is=REG
to go with it that uses the N3 socket.

I just picked up one of these for my 10D. Darn good price, quality build and works well too.

Interesting option,

Nothing to wonder about. It's designed for use with any camera that has the N3 socket and that includes the 20D. :)

PocketWizard with Pre-Release works at a distance of up to 1600 ft. NOT IR.

I have one
I ordered mine from ebay directly from China (there are no distributors in the UK that I could find) It works fine with the 20D and compared to the Canon remote is a bargain.

This is also the chap I got mine from. I did mine on a 'buy it now' option, which he doesn't seem to have at the minute, it was £55.
It took three weeks to arrive by the way.
