First I must say that this is a wonderful capture. Second I must say that is a perfect example that you can obtain great work with the 18-55 kit lens, and why I hate when people say that it is a piece of c$#p.

Ok, please don't take this the wrong way, but it has just been bugging me. Where is the bull's shadow? In the background you can see the shadow of tress but not the bull's.

Never noticed...but judging by the position of the sun by the shadows of the trees , I guess it was to the left of the bull, out of the frame
