My wife and I went, with my in-laws, to the Billy Joel & Elton John concert in Cincinnati last night. Professional cameras were not permitted in the venue, so I took my Powershot A470. They're not the best pictures.

Thanks. I would love to have been able to shoot that show, too. I didn't see one photog there at all. It would have been very easy to sneak in the 40D w/out grip and the 24-105. We could have put it in the diaper bag, because they never checked it. I wouldn't have risked being asked to leave that fantastic concert.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. That's real music. I know that it's only my opinion, but the great majority of "music" today is just noise. No real heart or soul poured into writing, performing and singing the music.

I have seen them both in person twice, never together. Unfortunately they will be in town in 2 weeks when I am on the east coast........

I am jealous of your photos and your concert opportunity....
