I wonder about the safety for the geat, very easy for a lens to fall .... I keep ALL my gear in bags nice and safe, protected and close to the floor. But to each his own.

I would consider a nice cabinet, if it were big so my bags could fit.

I'd be too worry that I didn't nail it down properly and all my gears would crash to the floor in the middle of the night especially in CA where tremors happen pretty unexpectedly. :D

I keep all my stuffs in a big bag on the floor :)

i was thinking the same thing and unless the cabinet is in a very secure room i'd want something that couldn't be broken into easily....like a gun safe.

but the cabinet looks very nice ;).

That is one sexy cabinet!

I shudder to think what would happen during an earthquake, though.

Can't remember the last time I heard of an earthquake in Orlando. :)

Yeah, they say the same comment in Missouri, where the New Madras fault hasn't had a major tremor in 150 years, but is anticipated to do so! Same for the Boston area!

You've got power running to the cabinet... now finish the job and get the chargers wired in there as well!

Yeah, in middle of buying another house so don;t want to get it set-up quite yet.

Lots of empty space in it still. Time to stock up !
