So. A few days ago, me and my good friend Corey Schlom (http://www.coreyschlomphotography.com/)came up with an idea for a photobook, or photo-story. Our idea, or concept, is to go around the small county of Orange County California, and photograph places that aren’t seen by the majority of people who live in this area. The purpose, is to show what else is in Orange County, besides the rich people of Coto, Dove Canyon, and Ladera Ranch, and that Orange County isn’t full of those so-called ‘Real Housewives of Orange County.’ So, in this photo-book or photo-story, we will have a wide range of photos taken from “hidden” places in Orange County, then we will give a short history lesson on the location of where the photo was taken.
That is another thing, many people don’t know about Orange County. There is A LOT of history behind everything, everywhere. So that is another reason for this photo-story\book.
We are currently in the process of finding locations to shoot at; we have found close to 15 different places, spread all throughout Orange County. After this, we will move on to shooting. So of course, you guys will be some of the first to see the photos, from this ‘possibly soon-to-be’ photo-story-book.

So, what do you think of this idea?
I just felt like sharing this idea of ours :D
Tell me what you think!

I like the idea. I think many people (especially residents of Orange County) would find the history and/or unwritten story about where they live or are visiting very interesting. You should even think about including a location map and easiest access to each location, almost like a tour. That way, if someone who buys the book is interested, they can go and see it for themselves. Just make sure it's interesting!

I lived in San Clemente for about seven years...lots of small, quirky, and fascinating places from Oceanside and northwards (even in stuffy Newport)... Could be an interesting project...
