It's a boat, it looks like any other boat, in any number of other situations. There's nothing special there for me, sorry.

I know its a boat I'm not that ignorant, what I am asking is does the exposure and my camera settings look about right. Sorry to bore you with a boat just a boat in any situation !!!!!!!

Obviously the lighting was not ideal....overcast conditions.

You might be able to improve the shot by increasing brightness & contrast just a bit. It could probably benefit from a little more saturation, too.

Finally, I'd crop the picture a little to eliminate some of the water in the foreground. The boat is the subject of the photo, but seems less significant because of all the water.

One last thing.....I'd level the horizon.

A few things hit me when I viewed the image that I would change...
1... The horizon needs to be straightened...
2... The boat needs more room to move in to and less negative space behind it... I would like to see where it's going not where it's been...
3... Just a little crop off the bottom to even the composition up a bit...
These are my personal preferences and it doesn't mean I'm right only giving my point of view as no doubt others will give theirs...
Exposure seems good as does the aperture value and shutter speeds you just need to work on your composition a little...

Thanks folks I appreciate your opinions and I agree, sometimes its hard to judge a shot especially when you are not a pro, I dont understand all the settings that are involved in setting up a 20D.

Second time I've done this so I guess I'll post it.....Some of what I would do.

Hope you don't mind....I agree with Kennymc - Blue it up, straighten the horizon, and I would have moved it to the right but takes too much time.
