Hi everyone, this is my first post here, I've been lurking since I purchased my 20D last week. These are some of my favorite pics from the Summer Palace in Beijing that I took last fall. I haven't done any post-production editing on them, and would really appreciate some feedback concerning touch-ups I could try. I don't have photoshop or elements yet, I just have iPhoto, so I might be limited in what I can do anyway.

Thanks in advance for the advice!

I like the second one of the demon/dragon/cat? It sort of reminds me of the scene in ghostbusters when the dogs came to life. Ok so that is a strange memory but that is what came to mind.

The small image size says that you are having a tough time getting the image size to <100kb.
I use photoshop for all my post production including resizing them for this forum.. take my word its much better than elements.

Image editing IS exelent in Photoshop, but have you looked at GIMP (open source) FREE ... Pretty good. http://www.gimp.org/

Dont bother with elements n'stuf, I would by Photoshop, or use GIMP until i could aford Photoshop.

My 2C

As for your photos, its hard to say as they are out of "context", would like to see the "whole" picture ...
