My daughter turned the big three a few weeks ago and we took her down to some tracks for some pictures.
This is my favorite out of the bunch.

Beutiful photo - well done!
I think it could maybe use just a tad more contrast, and I would be tempted to crop most of the water on the left side.

a very sweet and somewhat lonely photo. B&W fits the mood very well.

I took my son who is three down a few weeks ago and he was consumed with filling his pockets full of "train rocks"!
Great shot!

Thanks for the comment. I croped it quite a bit from the original. The sky and water were so blown, that I knew my only way to save the photo was to go B/W. I added a lot of contrast to get it to where it is as you see it. I was just so in love with the photo that I knew I needed to try and do something with it.

That's an adorable shot. I would love to see more of her eyes, but she's a kid, and I know you can't ask for everything. ;)
Great job with the pic and your conversion.

Nice job on recognizing what you had to work with. Did you shoot in RAW or .jpg?
I think you could salvage it to tone the sky down a bit.
Nice capture though! Thanks for sharing...:D
