I really like the second one. Tip would be to stand more over her so her neck isnt so scrunched to her chest. If you stand a little more over her her head would pull back a little bit and get rid of that look. HTH :)

Well I must say that reading your sig has me thinking WOW!
You have only had your camera for a month and a few days and you are getting these types of images already?
What type of lighting is used in the first one? Looking at the catch lights it appears to be one source of light to camera left or quite possibly on board..? It appears there is adequete distance between the subject and background. I would recommend removing the wrinkles though.
Go with what rebel chicks advise on the second one.
Keep at it. These are very good for someone that just stepped into the world of dslr.

The first one has a light source of a window to her right side about 3-4 feet away
Ill try to keep the neck thing in mind. Thanks for that tip

Thank you. I take a picture of her in it every year because it grows right off my front porch and makes such cute shots but this was the first time with a good camera and I got a truly good pic lol
