I took these pics of Samantha back in December. This pistol has been fired!!(for fun) It is a Sig Sauer P245, the sub compact .45.......perfect size for her hand. Anyway, enjoy the pics.

Why did you feel that you had to include the gun when she has a great body and lovely face? Not too keen on the loose backdrop.

Looks like a Sig P220?? Anyway, lovely model. Very lovely. Nice and soft, except for the gun, which is an interesting contrast.

Looks good. I have one of those two. The gun that is. Don't worry bout those Brit's they just are not allowed to have guns and feel bad about it. (LOL)

Thanks Charles ;-) it is in fact a P245, I wanted a sub compact .45 to go along with my 1911 model .45. Typically this is the pistol I carry when I travel or am out camping/fishing, etc. The story behind the pic is, I had taken a similar pic in that bikini, but minus the pistol. A friend saw the pic, really liked it and made an offhand remark about seeing her holding a gun. I forgot all about it, but Samantha remembered and suggested using one in the same pose and bikini. After the shoot, I printed it and she autographed it. Our friend laughed his a@# off when she gave it to him.

To those who mentioned the backdrop, I agree, I have tried to watch for more wrinkles and try to shoot less with a white background.

Sweet, I carry a G21 .45 on duty. Nothing like seeing a nice looking woman with a pistol. Great shots Nat.

Nat, you are a lucky man.
You should try blowing out the highlights a bit with levels to get a more solid white background. (#1 is my fav btw).

Nice pics....however gotta say never ever ever put you finger on the trigger unless you're planning to shoot something.

She looks like she is going to "make" you do something very bad.

...and if you are going to say that, why did you forget to say: Don't ever pick up a weapon unless you have shooting glasses and ear protectors on. :D :D

It is just a posed shot (pun intended) and a DA pistol at that, with the hammer down, and in posed shots, anything goes :)

I prefer my HK's myself, even if they do cost a little more.

Pretty girl, I like the first pose the best too!

I could not have said it better myself. Thanks for the compliments too :-) I considered the HK equivalent, but I liked the heavier more durable feel of the sig.

Thanks Drisley!!! Glad you got to check out the pics, number one is my favorite as well as Samantha's too. Cool work you did on the pic.......you used levels? I am on the lowest end of the Photoshop learning curve....I just figured out the clone tool and used it for the first time last week on the landscape stuff.

Thanks to everyone else for the compliments!!!

Nat869,
I just did a quick a dirty job with levels. I'm sure you could to a much better job if you spent more time. I wasn't sure if you if it's better to have the folds in the cloth showing or not, or to have more of a solid, white background. Anyway, I'm glad you don't mind.
I've been using Photoshop for about 10 years, and my limitations now are more creative than anything.
Btw, there are some great PS lessons about levels, curves, and masks over at Petteri's Pontifications.

LOL indeed the funny thing is that psk4363 may be one of the few people in the UK who can carry a handgun :D

It is not a blanket ban. We have very strict controls but I have both Shotguns and Rifles for hunting.
It is handguns and military weapons that we do not allow. A strange thing, when the Commonwealth Games were held in the UK all the foreign shooting teams got to keep their handguns; the British team (who have to practice in Europe) had to hand theirs to the Army to look after overnight

As for the pictures, very interesting, I agree with the backdrop comments. Is it a "girl thing" to wrap their fingers around the trigger rather than keep it out of the guard untill they really need to fire the thing?

Cool, I will check out that link. Anything to help me out is great, thanks!! I never mind if anybody wants to mess with my pics, I can learn that way.

Nice shots #1 is my fav.

I am somewhat of a gun nut myself. I have MANY shotguns and rifles. I carry a Ruger P94 Special Edition 40cal. I looked at a lot of pistols including Sig, HK, Beretta, and Glock, but the Ruger had molded grips and just felt the best in my hand. That Sig is a nice piece though.

Great shots, great model... I can see how she would probably
make a gun go off by accident ;-)

Keep up the good work, Rod

I'm also of the opinion that the gone does absolutely nothing for the photo. Nice photo otherwise, but it would be better without the props. Or at least if she's holding it make it look like she'd use it. My problem isn't that she has a gun, just that its a waste of space in the pose she is in. Same set, same bikini, gun pointed at the photographer (once you checked its empty) could be interesting. Aggression and vulnerability.
