Soooo......I usually go overboard with research prior to a purchase, and I did hear favorable reviews on the Skyports, so I basically blindly ordered them for my 430ex. Silly me....I didn't realize I needed a hotshoe adapter as well....bummer.....ran to Ritz and picked one up, plugged it in and BAM, it worked perfectly....couldn't be any easier. I am going to have a LOT of fun with this thing. My elderly great dane was my first victim. Anyhoo......chalk up another happy Skyport customer.

My only question, is what do you guys do with the receiver? I just looped the cord over the flash and it kind of dangled there....didn't look very neat, but didn't see another option.

My advice is to keep the receiver away from the flash unit if you can. The same with mains leads if using studio flash.
Some - (not all) flash units can have an effect on the receiver of which can put them into sleep mode.
