I'm defintely looking for some C&C.. I can see a lot of area for improvement (mostly composition) but I don't think they came out too bad.. I had to use some flash as a fill on the ends of the stage because of the lighting..

Rebel XTi, 50mm 1.8, and Kit lens... On camera flash.

Not bad at all for on camera flash. 6 is my fav, but try and shift the WB a little to make him not a washed purple.

You've got the right idea just maybe have them a little less busy. This is only relevant in the first couple. But they're still great. I think 6 is prolly the best of the group because there is less traffic. Hope this kinda makes sense i'm still new to this as well.

Good for a first shoot.

#1 leaves you undecided what it is you're (the viewer) supposed to focus on; the composition is awkward. It's often very good to have a secondary subject in a picture, but that should not come with the expense of good composition.

in #2 through #4 and #8 there is just a lot of stuff in the picture; makes them a bit uneasy to watch. Simplify!
