I should be getting my Sigma 70-200EX f/2.8 this Thursday (assuming UPS' estimate is correct). Man I can't wait, I'm getting it just in time for the start of my kids' soccer seasons. However, I was curious if anyone here has some sports shots they've taken with this lens that they'd be willing to post or direct me to. I searched and found gads of threads on this lens but couldn't find any action shot posted or in the reviews that were linked to. I'm hoping to see examples of people's work with this lens so I have a clear idea of what I can expect from it. Ultimately, I want to make sure that if my shots are at all disappointing I can chalk it up to my technique versus a limitation of the lens. Any help would be appreciated.

Ok, I'm really green! I'm hoping to get this lens in a month or so when I travel down to Norfolk on business.

Try this link;

I really don't think you will be disappointed with this, it is rated just a tad behind the Canon but not that much.

Thanks for the link, that does help somewhat. I just cannot wait to get that lens and start snapping shots with it. If anyone else does have any sports shots with the Sigma, please still pass them along. I'd love to see them.
