I wish I could figure out how not wash out my photos in firefox and IE as this looks better in iphoto. First attempt at any rowing shots in anticipation of the big race in 2 weeks!

FWIW, I'm looking at this on non color managed IE and it looks very good. No highlight blow outs nor do the blacks look crushed.

Nice job of keeping the shutter speed up to freeze the oars / water and get some nice selective focus on the rower. Only thing I might have tried different would be to put the rower a little more to camera left so he has somewhere to row into in the frame. As it is, if feels a tad cramped up to camera right.

I too think it looks pretty good. I'd suggest even less DOF. Looking at your EXIF, you've got a lot of room to play with your settings .
